Karaoke Sound Tools is a software package for karaoke audio processing. It contains three modules:

Vocal remover to remove vocal parts from CD recordings

·	Key changer to adjust the song to singers voice

·	Tempo changer to speed up or slow down the song

All these tools can be fine-tuned in real time, and work with MP3, WAV, BIN, and CDG files. If you use a karaoke BIN or MP3+G file and use tempo changer, the graphics part of the song will be adjusted so the lyrics are in sync with slower or faster version of the song.

Vocal remover allows to remove lead vocal from many recordings. It bases on a common technique used in song mastering – lead vocal is usually mixed equally between both stereo channels.

Vocal Remover has several parameters.

Enable switch allows to turn vocal remover or and off.

Level controls the intensity of the effect. By default the reduction is as heavy as possible.

Changing Balance can give better results with songs where vocals are panned to one of the channels.

Attenuation allows to increase the volume of the output if necessary.

Bass boost and Treble boost control the amount of low and high frequencies that are left untouched by the algorithm. Enabling them usually improves the quality of the vocal removed material.

Multiplex allows to create a special track that contains original song (with vocal) in the left channel and instrumental version (vocal-removed) in the right channel. Please note that your karaoke player needs to support multiplex to play this format.
